Presidential Task Force on Combating Anti-Muslim, Anti-Arab, and Anti-Palestinian Bias
On April 29, 2025, President Alan M. Garber reaffirmed Harvard’s strong resolve to continuing to take action on recommendations put forward by the Presidential Task Force on Combating Anti-Muslim, Anti-Arab, and Anti-Palestinian Bias. This work is focused on nurturing a widespread sense of belonging and promoting respectful dialogue; revising and implementing policies, procedures, and training; and strengthening academic and residential life.
Beginning in spring 2024, the Task Force engaged across the University to learn and inform how to best address instances of bias on campus and create a community where everyone can thrive. Many of the University’s actions and initiatives began in the last academic year and were also guided by the Task Force’s preliminary recommendations released in June 2024. Harvard will continue to advance this work going forward, in alignment with final recommendations released on April 29, 2025.
